The Claro Archaeology Group members are skilled and trained volunteers led by Kevin Cale of Community Archaeology Limited.

Since 1988 the group has been based on the ground floor of the Old Courthouse at Knaresborough Castle.  It is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Harrogate Borough Council.

Our website has been designed to share our work with the public.  We attend exhibitions, give talks, arrange guided walks, visit schools and publish Information containing our research results for both current and past projects.
